What is AI?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the development of computer systems that can perform tasks traditionally carried out by humans. These tasks include reasoning, learning, decision-making, and perception. AI is becoming increasingly common in everyday life—often in ways you might not even notice. For example, many GP surgeries now use AI to record and transcribe consultations with patients, helping to improve accuracy and efficiency in healthcare.

The Good Things Foundation has recently launched an AI Gateway website designed to help people understand and make use of Artificial Intelligence. The site provides easy-to-follow explanations and training on the basics of AI, making it more accessible to everyone. Click the link below to learn more.
